CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 17- OCT. 23
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Junior forward Brittany Bushey (Pittsford, Vt.) earned her first career Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week honor as announced today by the conference office.
Bushey broke a single-game program record for most goals scored as she helped the Endicott field hockey team defeat visiting Roger Williams University, 4-2, in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Tuesday night at North Field.
Bushey registered all four goals, including a hat trick in the first half, to also become the first student-athlete in Endicott's 24-year history to tally eight points in a single game.
Bushey is currently tied for the team-lead with seven goals this season. Bushey's previous career-high was two goals in the same game at Salve Regina on 10/24/14 in her freshman season and was named CCC Rookie of the Week on 09/15/14.
The Gulls return to action today at Nichols at 5:00 p.m. in Dudley, Mass. to resume the second half of Friday's lightning-suspended game. For the latest on Endicott Athletics, follow the Gulls on social media on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.>
