Equestrian Ranks Fourth (Tied) At Stonehill/Boston University Show; Two Riders Qualify For Regionals

WALPOLE, Mass. — The Endicott equestrian team placed fourth (tied) out of nine programs at the Stonehill/Boston University Show on Sunday evening at Mor Linn Farm.

Helen Barrow (Swanton, Vt.) and Isabelle Wulff (New London, N.H.) highlighted the Gulls with regional qualifying rides in open flat and limit over fences, respectively.

Shaina Zaslow (Lexington, Mass.) also ranked first overall in novice.

"Our riders had a strong show today, placing in the top two in four of the seven classes. This was our last regular show of the season and we head to regionals next weekend with seven riders now qualified, two of them gaining their final points today," said Endicott equestrian head coach Megan Martin. "Our student-athletes have been consistent all season and today was no exception. I'm so proud of the work they do behind the scenes that continues to produce great results!"

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Riley Miller (Acton, Mass.) ranked second in limit flat.
  • Sophia Channell (Vergennes, Vt.) earned runner-up honors in intermediate flat.
  • Barrow posted a fourth place finish in open over fences.
  • Emily Bocklet (Cross River, N.Y.) was reserve in intermediate fences.

Endicott will compete at regionals on Saturday, March 25 in Hanover, Mass. at the Holly Hill Show Stable.
