The Gulls took the ice against Marist College this past Saturday and came away with one point as the teams skated to a 4-4 tie. Endicott got off to an early two goal lead in the first when sophomore Brett Erickson (Leominster, MA/St. Bernards) notched his seventh goal of the season along with Chris Garofalo's (Peabody, MA/Bishop Fenwick) tenth. However, the Red Foxes would not go down without a fight, as they bounced back to tie the score.

Marist turned on the pressure in the second as they out shot the Gulls 17-9, but an impressive display of net-minding from Matt Murray (Billerica, MA/Arlington Catholic) kept the Gulls in the game.

Late in the third period Endicott found themselves trailing 4-3 with less than a minute to play. After a called time out and pulling Murray, for the extra skater, Gulls forward Pat Kennedy (Weymouth, MA/Weymouth) slid one in the net to knot the score at 4. Overtime was a back and forth battle, but neither team could get one past the sharp goaltending in both nets. The Gulls will host the University of Connecticut this Saturday at 7:00pm in Hamilton, MA.
