Endicott Gulls Soar Over Daniel Webster Eagles

The night after Endicott handed the University of Vermont a 3-2 lose, they welcomed Daniel Webster for their fourth contest of the year. From the drop of the puck, it was evident early on that the Gulls were ready to attack. Every line hit the ice in perfect stride, peppering the Eagles goaltender with shot after shot. The scoring started with sophomore Dan Greel notching his first goal of the season with assists coming from Bryan Caccamo and Mike Vacca. By the end of the second period freshman John Joaquin, senior Chris Garofalo, and Greel each had netted a pair to their totals. At the conclusion of the second period the Gulls insistent pecking of the Eagles had them leading by an impressive 11 goals. Sophomore Mark Gaudreau added one more in the third to round out the scoring at twelve. Senior goaltender Josh Provost kept the Eagles at bay until late in the third period when the Gulls gave up a two-on-one bid resulting in their only goal of the night. Endicott travels to Bryant University this Friday in a pivotal match-up in Rhode Island.
