BOSTON, Mass. – Earlier today, Wentworth Institute of Technology Director of Athletics Cheryl Aaron announced the promotion of Hannah Pelletier to Head Women's Lacrosse Coach, effective immediately. Pelletier is a 2010 graduate of Endicott College and was a standout student-athlete for the women's lacrosse program from 2007-09.

"We are very excited with the promotion of Hannah Pelletier to the women's lacrosse head coaching position at Wentworth," said Aaron. "She has had an incredible impact on our program over the past four seasons as a loyal and dedicated assistant coach, and I am confident she will make a smooth transition to being our next head coach."

Pelletier served as an assistant coach for the Wentworth women's lacrosse program for the past four seasons, and helped the Leopards reach new heights in 2018. Collectively, the Leopards broke a number of program records, including most wins in a season, earning two of their first-ever Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) victories.

Prior to her arrival at Wentworth, Pelletier worked alongside the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire University as assistant women's lacrosse coach for three seasons. Pelletier also coached a one-year stint at Bentley University.

"I'm very excited to have the opportunity to continue to coach at Wentworth in the head coaching position," said Pelletier. "I'm looking forward to continuing the growth of the program that coach Koffman started and am so thankful to Cheryl Aaron and the athletic department for the support they have given me in taking on this new role at Wentworth. I have a good feeling about this."

In addition to her diverse coaching background, Pelletier brings an abundance of playing experience as a former three-year letter winner at Endicott College. Defending the Gulls to three CCC championship titles, Pelletier currently ranks 10thall-time in ground balls (135) and 5thin ground balls per game (2.29). In her three years at Endicott, Pelletier totaled 12 goals, 10 assists, 22 points, and 49 caused turnovers. Pelletier also appeared in 14 games for the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils during her freshman season and scooped 18 ground balls.

A Kennebunk, Maine native, Pelletier earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Visual Communication from Endicott and currently resides in Somerville, Mass.
