Endicott Lands A School Record 91 Student-Athletes On CCC Spring Academic All-Conference List

BEVERLY, Mass. — A record-setting 608 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) student-athletes were honored on Monday morning as the league announced its Spring Academic All-Conference Team. Endicott led the way for a second consecutive season among its nine other CCC full-member institutions and three affiliate programs with a school record 91 student-athletes recognized for their work in the classroom.

In order to be recognized as a member of the Spring Academic All-Conference Team a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must have also attained sophomore status.

The spring list of teams includes baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, men's golf, men's ice hockey, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, softball, men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, men's tennis, men's track & field, and women's track & field.

Over the last two spring seasons, Endicott has produced 174 CCC Academic All-Conference honorees (87 per season). Meanwhile, when combining both the CCC Fall and Spring Academic All-Conference teams over the last two years, the Gulls have boasted 307 Academic All-Conference award winners, roughly 154 per academic year (153 in 16-17, 154 in 17-18).

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference comprised of ten full member and four associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition, and a meaningful student life. The conference administers championships in 18 intercollegiate sports.
