CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: Women's Volleyball Travels To Wentworth For Shot At Title

BOSTON, Mass. — The two-seed Endicott women's volleyball team (15-13) travels to No. 1 seed Wentworth (22-5) on Saturday, November 11 for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship. The match is slated for a 12 PM start at Tansey Gymnasium.

The Gulls advance to the championship match after their 3-1 victory over Western New England on Thursday evening at MacDonald Gymnasium. They took the match with scores of 25-11, 25-9, 21-25, and 25-18.

The Leopards punched their ticket to the championship, as they took down Suffolk 3-1, with scores of 25-19, 25-16, 18-25, and 25-13.

  • Endicott leads heavily in the all-time series, 25-2. 
  • Wentworth defeated Endicott 3-1 earlier this season, posting scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-18, and 25-23.
  • The Gulls hold the CCC's highest hitting percentage, hitting .216 as a team on the year.
  • Wentworth's Emma Sanders (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) leads the CCC in kills per set this fall (3.91).
  • Endicott has won the last three CCC Championships and five in the past six seasons.

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of Saturday's contest will be crowned the 2023 CCC Women's Volleyball Champion and earn the league's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Tournament.
