Ruel, Schueler Collect CCC Weekly Honors

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's volleyball student-athletes Krystina Schueler (Trumbull, Conn.) and Emma Ruel (Duxbury, Mass.) have been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player and Libero of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

During a 2-0 week for the Gulls against conference opponents Gordon (3-1) and Roger Williams (3-2), Schueler produced 4.00 kills per set (9), a .389 hitting percentage, and .78 blocks per set.

Schueler had double-digit kills versus Gordon (15, .448) and Roger Williams (21, career-high, .349). She also had seven block assists during the week with six coming against Roger Williams.

Meanwhile, Ruel was instrumental on the backline as she compiled 4.00 digs per set. Recorded 39 receives in the two matches only making one error with five assists and two service aces. 

This is Schueler's first CCC Player of the Week honor and Ruel's fifth Libero of the Week honor (9/12/2022, 10/11/22, 10/24/22, 11/7/22).
