BEVERLY, MA - Endicott College embarked on a seven-game home stand Tuesday night by making quick work of CCC rival Salve Regina, 3-0. The Gulls won 30-18, 30-15 and 30-19 to take their fourth straight contest.
Junior middle hitter Sara Moore (Guilford, CT/Guilford) had 10 kills while sophomore setter Meghan Hall (Santa Cruz, CA/Aptos) handed out a team-leading 40 assists and 15 digs.
Once again the Endicott freshmen were instrumental in getting the team to 11-8 overall and 5-1 in the CCC. Freshman Hayley Janelle (Mad River, NH/Oyster River) added seven kills and two blocks and freshman Kaylee Krom (Strasburg, CO/Strasburg) had eight kills.
Junior Katelyn Smith (Ballston Lake, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) dug up 11 balls for the Gulls.
Endicott puts its winning streak on the line Saturday, hosting a tri-match with Wentworth Institute of Technology and Regis College (11:00 am; 3:00 pm). The home stand culminates on Homecoming weekend (Saturday, October 15) versus WNEC and Wheaton College at 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
