CCC Athletes of the Week Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Freshman Hannah Pesci (Windham, N.H.) was named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for her play in the team's 1-1 week that improved the team's record to 10-2-2 (5-1-0 CCC) on the season.
Pesci received the honor, her second of the season (September 19, 2016), after posting two goals in the team's 4-0 win over Western New England on Saturday. Both goals came in the second half, less than four minutes apart, in the 69th and 73rd minutes. It was Pesci's second two-goal performance of the season as the first year player now has six goals and 14 points on the season. Her six goals tie her for second on the roster while her 14 points have her standing alone in second place.
