Wenham, Mass. -  \#Taylor Ocko\# (Danvers, Mass.) scored in the 80th minute to break a scoreless tie as Endicott defeated Gordon 1-0 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference action.  The win moves Endicott to 9-2-1 overall and 7-0 in league play.  Gordon drops to 7-5 and is 3-4 in TCCC play.

The match was tightly contested throughout as both team were forced to deal with wet and muddy conditions.  Endicott outshot Gordon 14-4 in both halves for an overall 28-8 advantage, but Gordon goalkeeper Kari Christensen (Standish, Maine) made 14 saves to keep the match close.

Ocko broke the scoreless tie with just over 10 minutes remaining in regulation when she dribbled through the Gordon defense and cracked a shot from about 20 yards out.  The shot sailed over the outstretched arms of Christensen into the top of the net, giving the Gulls the only score of the match.

\#Natalie Wyrsch\# (Dover, N.H.) was rarely tested but made two saves in recording the shutout.  One of her two stops came with less than three minutes to play when Gordon defender Katie Knaus (Kensington, Conn.) collected a loose ball and drove a hard shot on goal.

\#Kayla Plante\# and \#Karyn Plante\# (Sanford, Maine) both had 4 shots for Gordon while \#Colleen Pepin\# (Fairhaven, Mass.) had 5 shots.  Ocko led all players with 9 shots, while Kaelyn McBride (Franklin, Mass.) had 2 shots for the Scots.

Endicott will play at Regis on Saturday at noon.  The Scots will host Nichols at the same time on Saturday as part of Homecoming Weekend.
