New London, N.H. – Endicott senior \#Kayla Corbett\# (Danvers, Mass.) scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute to lift the Gulls to a 2-1 victory at Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday. Endicott remained unbeaten in The Commonwealth Coast Conference with the win, pushing their record to 5-0. They are now 7-2-1 overall. Colby-Sawyer has dropped three straight to fall to 2-7-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the conference.

Endicott's leading goal scorer, junior \#Colleen Pepin\# (Fairhaven, Mass.), put the away team up 1-0 five minutes into the contest. Pepin received a through ball from sophomore teammate \#Chelsea Garlock\# (Meriden, Conn.) and did the rest as she blasted a shot into the top shelf of the net. Pepin now has six goals on the season.

Colby-Sawyer found the equalizer with three minutes to play in the first half off the foot of sophomore Emily Brown (Rye, N.H.). Freshman Stephanie Huntley (Woodbury, Conn.) took the ball down the left flank and flicked it to Brown who was ahead of the play. Brown then shot across the net and bent the ball into the right corner of the goal.

Corbett scored the game-winner after gathering the ball in front of the net when several players could not control it. She struck the ball and it just got by Colby-Sawyer keeper Shalyn Spencer (Natick, Mass.). The goal was Corbett's fifth of the season.

Endicott had a 13-1 advantage in shots on goal and also had several shots hit off the crossbar. The Gulls held a 7-0 edge in corner kicks.

Freshman goalie \#Natalie Wyrsch\# (Dover, N.H.) earned the victory for Endicott after allowing one goal. Spencer kept the Chargers in the game and made 10 saves.

Colby-Sawyer will host Salve Regina on Saturday at 3:30 pm as part of Fall Festival weekend. Endicott puts its perfect conference record on the line on Friday with a 4:00 pm home tilt against Anna Maria to kick off homecoming weekend.
