DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Endicott women's club rugby team played its third dominant match of the 2016 season defeating Colonial Coast Rugby Conference (CCRC) opponent UMass Dartmouth, 31-5, on the road on Saturday.

On a wet and messy pitch, the first half was a defensive battle with both teams producing several key stops and only scoring one try a piece to end the half in a 5-5 stalemate. The Gulls came out dominant in the second half producing several key tries and conversions offensively while also holding the Corsairs scoreless in the final half.

"We did a great job of keeping the call tight and supporting each other quickly," said coach Emily Record. "UMD played a lot of great defense and held up many tries."

Reagan Cerci (Easton, Mass) and Amanada Poulin (Turner, Maine) led the way for the Gulls converting on two tries each. Jordan Zak (Brimfield, Mass.) also contributed one try while Katie Page (Salem, N.H.) kicked three conversions for the Gulls.

Endicott will take the field next on Sunday, October, 9th as the Gulls host Merrimack College for a 12:00 p.m. matchup at Hempstead Stadium.
