Men’s Tennis Falls At Nichols, 8-1

DUDLEY, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team fell to Nichols, 8-1, on Sunday evening at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

In doubles flights, the Gulls' top pairing of Antonio Marsallo (Baldwinsville, N.Y). and Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) captured the lone 8-5 victory on the afternoon. 

Meanwhile, Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) battled to a 6-4, 7-5 setback at No. 5 singles.

"We had a lot of positives to take from today. Mentally we kept composure well, and remained pretty positive despite the result," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "If we play the big points a bit better we will give ourselves a real chance."

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • The Bison are 4-0 at home this season.
  • Marsallo/Kadel advanced to 3-4 as a duo in 2023-24.
  • Oliver Pope (South Dartmouth, Mass.) and De Risi played their first doubles match together this afternoon.
