BEVERLY, Mass. — Nine members of the Endicott field hockey program have received postseason honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office earlier today.

Student-athletes Meaghan Hogan (Chesire, Conn.), Rachael Lemay (Westminster, Mass.), Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park, N.Y.), and head coach Jodi Cipolla were named Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year respectively.

Along with those honors, Claire Boncek (Hamden, Conn.), Olivia Lampasona (Watertown, Mass.), Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass.), Lindsay Bruns (Belfast, Maine), and Meghan Lehouiller (Colchester, Vt.) all collected CCC All-Conference accolades as well.

CCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR l ALL-CCC FIRST TEAM

Meaghan Hogan | Sr. | F | Chesire, Conn.

Hogan put together a career-best goal scoring season for the Gulls with 19 tallies (first in conference, 31st in NCAA DIII GPG) over the course of 20 games, nine of which were netted in conference play. Hogan also aided Endicott to a 15-win season behind a team-high 51 points (first in CCC, 16th in NCAA DIII PPG).

Meanwhile, Hogan found the stick of her teammates 13 times for scores, which ranked highest on the team and CCC (13th in NCAA APG).

Endicott has now earned four straight CCC Offensive Player of the Year awards with today's announcement. Hogan joins 2021 award winner Sydney Poulin '22 (Watertown, Mass.) and 2018-19 award winner Kristen McCarthy '20 M'21 (Danvers, Mass.) on the list.

In total, the Gulls have claimed the CCC Offensive Player of the Year six times in program history.

CCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR l ALL-CCC FIRST TEAM

Rachael Lemay | Sr. | D | Westminster, Mass.

Lemay dominated on the defensive end for the Gulls all season long, which resulted in Endicott allowing a league-low 24 goals while compiling a league-best 1.20 goals against average (GAA, 33rd in DIII) in the process. Lemay led the way in orchestrating a stalwart defense that secured nine shutouts over the course of 20 games (20th in DIII).

Offensively, Lemay found the back of the net once during the 2022 campaign.

CCC ROOKIE OF THE YEAR l ALL-CCC FIRST TEAM

Brianna Anslow | Fr. | GK | Clifton Park, N.Y.

During 1069:33 minutes in cage for the Gulls, Anslow accumulated an astounding 1.23 GAA (22 goals allowed, 2nd CCC, 32nd DIII) and 76 saves in 19 starts this season. Anslow also ranks second in the CCC with a .776 save percentage (first place, .778 | 32nd DIII).

Anslow is the first goalie to win CCC Rookie of the Year honors since Taylor Farrin (Danvers, Mass.) accomplished the feat in 2017.

Additionally, Anslow is the seventh student-athlete in program history to receive CCC Rookie of the Year honors.

CCC COACH OF THE YEAR

Jodi Cipolla | 16th year

Cipolla earned her fifth career CCC Coach of the Year honor (2008, 2012, 2017, 2019, 2022) behind a 5-1 CCC record and a 15-5 overall mark. The Gulls entered the CCC Field Hockey Championship Tournament as the No. 2 seed, securing a first-round bye before defeating Western New England, 5-3, in the CCC Semifinals to advance to the championship game.

During the 2022 campaign, Cipolla clinched the 200th win of her career in a 5-0 victory over Husson.

Cipolla improved to 118-30 (.797) in the conference and 209-105 (.666) overall.

ALL-CCC FIRST TEAM

Olivia Lampasona  | Sr. | F | Watertown, Mass.

Lampasona produced a career-best 13 goals (3 game-winners) this year, five of which were buried in CCC play. Lampasona's 13 tallies qualify for a three-way tie for second place in the CCC, only behind Hogan. Her 28 points ranked fourth overall in the conference. Lampasona also notched five multi-goal games in 17 starts.

Claire Boncek  | Sr. | M | Hamden, Conn.

Boncek recorded a career-high in assists (5) and points (13) in her transition from defender to midfielder. Defensively, she registered a clutch defensive save versus Western New England in the postseason.

Boncek is the first student-athlete under Cipolla's guidance to earn CCC All-Conference First Team accolades at two separate positions (2022 - M | 2021 - B).

SECOND TEAM ALL-CCC

Maddy Dengler  | Fr. | F | Winchester, Mass.

Dengler put together a phenomenal freshman season behind a 13-goal campaign that qualified for a three-way tie for second place in the CCC, only behind fellow teammates Hogan and Lampasona. Dengler's seven assists and 33 points rank second on Endicott and the entire conference.

Lindsay Bruns  | Sr. | F | Belfast, Maine.

Bruns buried 10 tallies this season, ranking fifth on the team and eighth overall in the conference. Bruns' five feeds tied Boncek for third most on the Gulls, while her 25 total points qualified for fourth best on the Blue and Green.

Meghan Lehouiller  | Jr. | D | Colchester, Vt.

Lehouiller guided the Gulls to an impressive 0.33 GAA in conference play, ranking first overall in the CCC. On the offensive end, Lehouiller dished out two assists.
