No. 10 Babson Tops Field Hockey, 5-2

BABSON PARK, Mass. — The Endicott field hockey team fell to No. 10 nationally ranked Babson, 5-2, on Tuesday evening at MacDowell Field.  

Tori Swanson (Farmington, Conn.) and Kathleen Reissfelder (Westwood, Mass.) found the back of the net in the third (44:01) and fourth (52:42) periods, respectively, to get the Gulls on the board after the Beavers built up a 5-0 advantage.

Meanwhile, Brianna Anslow (Clifton Park, N.Y.) stopped eleven shots in the setback (11-4). 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Babson is 9-4 in the all-time series versus Endicott. 
  • The Beavers are riding an 11-game winning streak. 
  • Babson is 6-2 at home this season. 
  • Swanson's ninth goal ties her with fellow freshman Maddy Dengler (Winchester, Mass. ) for third place on the team.

Endicott (12-4) visits Southern Me. On Thursday, October 27 at 7 PM. No. 10 Babson (15-3) hosts Smith on Saturday, October 29 at 12 PM.
