2018 Baseball Season Preview

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott baseball team begins its 2018 season at home this Sunday versus Stevens at 12 PM. Here's a look at the upcoming season for the Gulls.

RETURNING CAST (ROSTER): Endicott will be led by its senior class which includes captain Hunter Boyce (Bangor, Maine), Nick Berno (St. Albans, Vt.), Michael Casciano (Somers, Conn.), Michael DeDonato (Chelmsford, Mass.), Will Ferreira (Nantucket, Mass.), Victor Molle (Peabody, Mass.), and Brad Rebello (Bellingham, Mass.).

MARK YOUR CALENDAR (SCHEDULE): After their home opener on Sunday, the Gulls will play seven games on the West Coast as part of the California Invitational from March 11-17. The month of March will also feature an eight-game homestand with contests against Salem State (Mar. 21), Roger Williams (DH, Mar. 24), Bates (DH, Mar. 25), Southern Maine (Mar. 28), MIT (Mar. 29), and Wesleyan (Mar. 30). In total, the Gulls will play 18 home games this season.

PRESEASON PLAUDITS (CCC POLL): Endicott was picked to finish second in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Preseason Coaches' Poll with a total of 71 points.

2017 YEAR IN REVIEW: The Gulls won 25-plus games for the eighth season in a row when they finished with a 25-19 overall record (11-5 CCC). Endicott advanced to the CCC Championship series for the second consecutive year but fell short against Salve Regina (12-2, 8-2).
