BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team fell to Babson College, 8-1, in a non-conference matchup on Thursday evening at the South Campus Courts.
Lauren Rahr (Waterford, Conn.) picked up the lone win for the Gulls with a hard-fought 3-6, 6-4, 10-3 victory at No. 5 singles.

"It was good to get a team as strong as Babson up here to test us heading into the playoffs," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Jeremy Howard. "Also, I'd like to give a shout-out to Lauren Rahr and her great work to get Endicott on the scoreboard."

- Endicott suffered its first loss at home this season (6-1 overall).
- Rahr is undefeated in singles play on the year (1-0 No. 4, 5-0 No. 5).

Endicott (9-2) takes on Bentley University this coming Monday, October 9 at 1 PM at Brandeis University. Babson (1-0) will compete at NEWITT's from Friday, October 13 to Sunday, October 15.
