WELLESLEY, Mass.-  A day after the Gulls claimed their first win of the 2014 campaign, Endicott faltered against Wellesley, falling 1-8 on the road.  The Gulls earned their lone point at #3 doubles as Mackenzie Rhodes (Rye, N.H.) and Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) claimed an 8-3 victory.  With the loss, Endicott drops to 1-1 on the young season while Wellesley improves to 1-0 in their debut.

In singles action, Endicott saw Jamie Zompa (Marlborough, Mass.) force a third set following a first set 2-6 loss, and a second set 6-0 win, to fall 5-10.  In the remaining singles matches, Heacox (#1), Egbert (#2), Reilly (#3), Suzie Newman (Dighton, Mass.)
