  • Endicott Men and Women Honored with ITA Academic Awards

    SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced their 2015 ITA All-Academic Team and Scholar-Athlete award winners and the Endicott women’s tennis team collected their second straight All-Academic Team award while seeing a record nine student-athletes earn individual Scholar-Athlete nods. The men’s team placed two individuals on the Scholar-Athlete award list.
  • Gulls End Season in NCAA 2nd Round with 5-0 Loss to #1 Williams

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.- Having already recorded an NCAA DIII Tournament win for the third consecutive season, the women’s tennis team saw their 2014-15 season come to an end, bowing out to #1 Williams by a 5-0 final. The Gulls had advanced to the second round with a 5-0 win over Farmingdale State on Friday, a team that they also defeated in the 2013-14 NCAA DIII Tournament First Round. With the loss, Endicott’s final record on the year falls to 14-5 while Williams remains undefeated, improving to 21-0.

    WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass.- For the second straight season, the Endicott women's tennis team drew Farmingdale State as their opponent in the NCAA DIII Women's Tennis Tournament First Round, and for the second year in a row, Endicott emerged victorious, this time via a 5-0 decision. With the win, Endicott now advances to play host Williams tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. The Gulls improve their 2014-15 season record to 14-4 with the victory while the Rams of Farmingdale State end their season at 14-2.
  • Endicott Set to Play Farmingdale St. In NCAA DIII Women's Tennis Championship

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - For the second consecutive year, the Endicott women's tennis team will take on Farmingdale State in the opening round of the NCAA DIII Women's Tennis Championship the NCAA announced on Monday. The Gulls have advanced to the Championship via an automatic bid following their fourth consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title while the Rams advanced after clinching their second straight Skyline title.
  • Endicott Falls to Simmons 6-3 in Final Tune-Up Before NCAA DIII Tournament Play

    BEVERLY, Mass.- With the NCAA DIII Women’s Tennis Tournament slated to start on May 8th, Endicott played host to Simmons for their final spring match on Friday with the Gulls falling to the hosts by a 6-3 final. With the setback, Endicott falls to 13-4 on the campaign while Simmons improves to 16-3. Both squads have qualified for NCAA Tournament play which begins on May 8th at a time and site that has yet to be determined.
  • Gulls Fall to Nationally Ranked, #27 Brandeis on the Road

    WALTHAM, Mass. – The Endicott women’s tennis team traveled to #27 Brandeis on Thursday afternoon for a non-conference matchup. Entering the match, the Judges ranked #10 in the Northeast region and #27 overall as they lifted to a 9-0 victory over the Gulls. Endicott drops just their third match of the season as they sit at 13-3 while the nationally ranked Judges improve to 9-8.
  • Women's Tennis Claims 5-4 Victory over Bentley in Spring Opener

    WALTHAM, Mass. – The Endicott women’s tennis team kicked off their 2015 spring season, after claiming the programs fourth consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) title in the fall, by traveling to regional foe Bentley on Sunday afternoon. Behind a match clinching victory from freshman Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) in the #5 slot the Gulls lifted to a 5-4 victory. Endicott improves to 13-2 overall on the season as they prepare for the NCAA Tournament which begins on May 8th while Bentley falls to 7-13 on the season.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced their Fall 2014 Academic All-Conference Team and Endicott was the leader of the pack with 47 honorees across seven first semester sports that included men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball.

    NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Following their fourth consecutive Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship victory last week, the Endicott women’s tennis team had a strong showing at the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Tennis Tournament (NEWITT) by defeat NESCAC foe 2-1 on Friday before falling to Babson 2-1 in the second round on Saturday.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s tennis team hosted their first Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship match in program history and rose to the occasion, winning 5-1 over Nichols, as the Gulls captured their fourth straight conference title and fifth since the 2008 season. Endicott earned the CCC’s automatic qualifying bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament, a postseason tournament that they have played into the Second Round in back-to-back years under third year’s coach Jeremy Howard.

Poor weather conditions have postponed Saturday's title match which will now be played on Sunday, October 12th at 12:00 pm on the South Campus Courts at Endicott.

The Gulls went 10-2 overall and 8-0 in their CCC schedule during the regular season.

The Blue and Green improved to 9-2 overall and 7-0 in league action following their impressive team effort against the Seahawks.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s tennis team celebrated Homecoming and Senior Day with an 8-1 victory over CCC opponent Eastern Nazarene on Saturday afternoon marking the program’s seventh win in their last eight matches. Senior captains Natalie Egbert (Gorham, Maine), Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.), and Chrissy Martel (Westbrook, Conn.) played in the final regular season home match of the Endicott careers as the team now hits the road for three contests before the conference tournament begins.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – After going 4-2 in her singles and doubles matches combined this week, Endicott women’s tennis freshman Dayna Reilly (Swansea, Mass.) was named CCC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. Reilly helped the Gulls (7-2, 5-0 CCC) push their season-high win-streak to six matches before suffering their first loss since August 30th in a home loss to Babson on Sunday.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s tennis team took on an undefeated Babson squad on Sunday afternoon and saw their six-match unbeaten streak come to an end as the Beavers defeated the Gulls 8-1. Babson took two out of three doubles matches before sweeping singles action on the road.

    BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott women’s tennis team won their sixth straight match on Saturday after defeating CCC opponent Wentworth 9-0 at the Beren Tennis Center on the campus of Harvard University. The Gulls have gone undefeated in each of the conference matches this season and currently sit atop the league standings with a 7-1 (5-0 CCC) record.

    SALEM, Mass. – With a 9-0 win over Salem State on Thursday afternoon, the Endicott women’s tennis team ran their unbeaten streak to five matches and won back-to-back games over North Shore Cup rivals. Endicott improved to 6-1 overall on the season with their second straight road victory and will next face CCC opponent Wentworth on Saturday, September 20th on the Harvard University campus.

Endicott is now 5-1 overall and 4-0 in their CCC schedule thanks to senior captain Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.), junior Suzie Newman (Dighton, Mass.), and sophomore Mackenzie Rhodes (Rye, N.H.) who were all a part of singles and doubles victories over their Scots opponents.

Senior captain Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.) won the top singles and doubles (with freshman Dayna Reilly (Swansea, Mass.)) while freshman Maxine Bergstein (Hingham, Mass.) recorded her first collegiate singles victory with a straight-set #6 singles win.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Darkness forced a halt to the match-deciding #5 singles match between Endicott women’s tennis junior Suzie Newman (Dighton, Mass.) and Nichols freshman Ashley Dallaire (East Bridgewater, Mass.) but when play resumed at the Manchester Athletic Club, Newman finished off her opponent with a second-set tiebreaker win 6-2, 7-6 (7-0) to help the Gulls secure a 5-4 regular season CCC victory over the Bison on Tuesday evening.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Endicott freshman women’s tennis star Dayna Reilly (Swansea, Mass.) helped the Gulls secure a conference opener victory over Roger Williams on Saturday and for her efforts the CCC named Reilly their Rookie of the Week. Reilly secured two points for Endicott in a 5-2 match over the Hawks at #1 doubles with senior teammate Amy Heacox (Marion, Mass.) and clinched the win by taking her #3 singles opponent in three sets.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Before rain and thunderstorms rolled through the Endicott campus, the Gulls women’s tennis team was able to secure a 5-2 victory in their CCC opening match over Roger Williams thanks in large part to a gritty 9-8 (7-4) #2 doubles win for senior captain Natalie Egbert (Gorham, Maine) and her partner sophomore Brittany Potter (Bedford, N.H.) and a hard-fought 7-5, 6-7 (3-7), 6-0 three-set #3 singles triumph for freshman Dayna Reilly (Swansea, Mass.).
