Women's Tennis Looks to Continue Success

BEVERLY, MA - The Endicott College Gulls women's tennis team earned the number two ranking in the Commonwealth Coast Conference preseason poll. EC enjoyed an extremely successful season in 2005 as they compiled an 11-2 (8-1 CCC) record and finished second in the conference.

The Gulls tallied 81 points putting them second behind defending CCC Champions Salve Regina who received all 10 first place votes and tallied 100 points overall. Rivals Gordon College were ranked third as they received 79 points, while Roger Williams and Colby-Sawyer round out the top five with 75 and 65 points respectively.

EC opens their season on September 5, when they travel to Southern Maine before returning home to take on top ranked Salve Regina on September 8.
