Beverly, MA - The Gulls took the field at home today against the Fighting Scots from across town, and came out to a 5-3 lead partly through the first half. Four different players scored for Endicott in the first thirty minutes of play.
Junior Christine Wilmott (Barre, VT) netted five of the Gulls ten first half points. Katie White (Sr/Ridgefield, CT) chipped in a first half hat trick and added two goals in the second half to finish with five as well. Lindsey O'Connell (Fr/Mansfield, MA), Susie Neikirk (So/Scotia, NY), and Cathy Sharp (So/Rutland, VT) had one goal each.
The Gulls had a 10-8 advantage at the half, and led by as much as five goals in the second with a score of 13-8 before visiting Gordon College took charge scoring the last six goals of the match.
Gordon's Heather MacLeod scored the game winner with 4:06 minutes left to play.
The Gulls are now 4-3 in conference, 6-8 overall. They return to action Thursday, April 22 away against Western New England College in Springfield, MA.
