Shaw, Pratt Collect CCC Weekly Honors

CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK FOR THE WEEK OF FEB. 13 - FEB. 19

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Junior forward Hannah Shaw (Bar Harbor, Maine) and freshman guard Emily Pratt (Gardner, Mass.) collected Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly honors for the week of February 13 through February 19, 2017 as announced today by the conference office.

CCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Hannah Shaw | Jr. | F | Bar Harbor, Maine

Shaw is a two-time Athlete of the Week selection this season (12/05/16). She scored a season-high 25 points for the Gulls on Saturday in the final game of the regular season against Western New England for the most points netted in any game by a Gull on the year.

On the week, the All-CCC First Team forward led Endicott in scoring with 39 points on 14-of-24 shooting (5-of-10 from three-point range) and 6-of-9 from the charity stripe.

Shaw also tied for the team-lead with 14 rebounds overall, alongside three assists, one steal, and two blocks in the two games combined.

CCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Emily Pratt | Fr. | G | Gardner, Mass.

Pratt, now a four-time CCC honoree this season, continued her strong rookie campaign to help the Gulls to a 1-1 record in the final week of the regular season.

Pratt shot the ball well, making 66.7 percent of her field goals, while hitting 60.0 percent from beyond the arc and knocking down all her free throws. In the team's 71-60 win over Western New England on Saturday, Pratt tallied 19 points (one shy of her career high).

The Gulls return to action tonight as the fourth seed in a CCC quarterfinal matchup against fifth-seeded Eastern Nazarene at 6:00 p.m. inside MacDonald Gymnasium.
