Mullen Family, Endicott Men’s Volleyball Program Create William “Billy” Mullen ’15 Memorial Scholarship

BEVERLY, Mass. – Through the combined efforts of the Mullen Family, the Endicott men's volleyball program and alumni, the William "Billy" Mullen '15 Memorial Scholarship has been created to honor Billy and what he embodied as a valued member of the Endicott Community.

Once fully funded, the monies generated by this endowed scholarship will be awarded annually to an Endicott student or students who demonstrate high financial need from Weymouth, Mass. and/or the South Shore area.

"Billy was a young man that cherished every moment of being a Gull and brought an infectious energy to the team every day. The perfect teammate, Billy always put the success of the team ahead of his own and never took anything for granted," said Endicott men's volleyball head coach George Chapell '08. "To this day, Billy is part of the foundation on which we continue to build this program. This scholarship will allow us to continue his legacy and will allow young men & young women to make Endicott a possibility, something that Billy would have wanted."
