2015 All-CCC Men's Tennis Release
Endicott Men's Tennis All-Conference History

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-  For just the third time in program history, the Endicott men's tennis team saw Christopher Kirkpatrick (Newburyport, Mass.) receive the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Year Award as the freshman was one of four players to receive All-CCC honors.  Kirkpatrick joins Zach Arpey (2011) and Josh Schoen (2006) as the only Rookie of the Year winners for the men's tennis program as he looks to lead the #3 Gulls through the CCC Tournament, starting today with #6 Western New England at home at 3:30 p.m.

Kirkpatrick, who currently owns a 9-6 record at #1 singles and an 11-5 record at #1 doubles, was also named All-CCC First Team as a singles player and All-CCC First Team as a doubles player.  The freshman was joined by partner Michael Dolph (Stratford, Conn.) for the All-CCC First Team Doubles nod while Dolph also garnered All-CCC Third Team honors as the team's #3 singles player at which he sports a 9-3 record (11-4 overall in singles play).  For Dolph, the honors mark two straight years of All-CCC recognition as he was earned All-CCC Second Team Doubles and Honorable Mention Singles in 2014.

Also earning All-CCC recognition were junior Eric Pierce (Barrington, R.I.) and senior Justin Warshavsky (East Hartford, Conn.).  Pierce was named to the All-CCC Second Team Singles for his play at #2 singles in the 2015 season while both Pierce and Warshavsky were named All-CCC Third Team Doubles for their strong season.  The duo has produced a 5-3 record overall as a doubles team on the season.

The five total honors for the program on the season ties a program record that was set by the 2013 squad.

Endicott received the #3 seed in the CCC Tournament after a 3-0 week last week that saw the Gulls claim victories over two CCC Tournament teams in #4 Gordon and #5 Eastern Nazarene.  Endicott plays host to #6 Western New England today at 3:30 p.m. with the winner playing into #2 Nichols for a match on Thursday that will be held on the campus of Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
