Neukom, Bacon Earn CCC Athlete Of The Week Accolades

CCC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass.- Endicott men's soccer student-athletes Dario Neukom (Palma de Mallorca, Spain) and Jack Bacon (Lincoln, R.I.) were named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Offensive Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Neukom netted the game-winner in double overtime as the Gulls defeated Springfield in a rematch of last season's first-round NCAA Tournament game. Neukom currently has three goals and two assists for eight points on the season.

Bacon improved to 6-4-1 on the season with a win in net over Springfield. He recorded a season-high 12 saves to earn the victory and finished the game with a GAA of 0.85 and a save percentage of .923.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (10-5-2) hosts Roger Williams on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 4 PM for the CCC Tournament Semifinals.
