BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team traveled to Connecticut College on Tuesday afternoon and fell by a score of 4-1.
Connecticut College got on the board first, 13 minutes into the game on a tally from Ben Highton (Darien, Conn.).
In the second half, the Camel's extended their lead to 2-0 when Liam Donelan (Milton, Mass.) found the back of the net.
At the 67:47 mark, Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) broke the shutout attempt when he converted on a penalty kick to cut the deficit to one goal.
Highton netted his second goal of the contest at 74:19 to give the Camels a 3-1 lead.
With less than two minutes remaining in regulation, Liam Noonan (Calabasas, Calif.) secured the 4-1 victory with his first goal of the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Jack Bacon (Lincoln, R.I.) ended the contest with three saves.
- Evan Couchot's goal was his 25th career tally, which now makes him the program career goals leader.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (1-4) travels to Western New England on Saturday, September 15 for a 1:30 PM conference contest. Connecticut College (3-0) hosts U-Mass. Boston for a 2 PM game on Saturday, September 15.
