POTSDAM, N.Y.- Three Gulls have been named to the LOTTO Classic All-Tournament team.  Abdulla Al Khalifa, Ryan D'Amico and Kevin Gnecco were recognized by opposing coaches as players that were deserving of this recognition.

Al Khalifa got his Endicott career off to a quick start by scoring the game-tying goal in the second match win against Clarkson University.  The 6'1" sophomore midfielder scored on a header in the 56th minute.  The goal was also the first of the young season for the Gulls.

Ryan D'Amico was a steady force all weekend.  In Friday's match against #2 Saint Lawrence, D'Amico led the offense with three shots.  He followed that performance up by netting the game winner on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute that was perfectly tucked high and just inside the left post.  D'Amico finished the match with two shots, both of which were on goal.

Senior leader Kevin Gnecco provided depth and stability all weekend on the defensive line as they took on quality opponents.  In the win against Clarkson, the defense only allowed four shots on goal, three of which were saved.  Against nationally ranked #2 Saint Lawrence, the Gulls played the first half to a scoreless draw before eventually falling 3-0.

The trio hope to parlay this early season success into a long and successful season for the Gulls.

Endicott is now off until Wednesday when they host the visiting Raiders of Rivier.
