Final Stats

MILTON, MA - Elias Carrero (Great Barrington, MA/Monumen Mountain) spoiled Homecoming at Curry College with an overtime strike from 40 yards out, vaulting the Gulls past the Colonels, 1-0, Saturday night.

Carrero's strike to the upper corner was described as a world-class goal by Endicott coach Stefano Franciosa and helped Endicott stay on a roll as the season winds down. The Gulls, who have won three in a row and seven out of eight, are .500 for the first time all season.

Endicott (8-8-0 overall, 7-3-0 CCC) is currently in third place in the conference, one game ahead of Wentworth and two behind second place Gordon with one game remaining (at Salve Regina Tuesday). Curry fell to 2-7-1 in the CCC (5-9-1 overall) with the loss.

Carrero, Pirapong Sirikietsoong (Bankok, Thailand) and Kyle Austin (Keene, NH/Keene) controlled the middle of the field while Daniel Duvernoy (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton) and Eric Booth (Belchertown, MA/Belchertown) were dominant on defense in front of goaltender Cameron Twiss (Reading, MA/Bishop Fenwick).

The CCC playoffs are slated to begin Saturday, October 29 and the Gulls will host a playoff game if they finish fourth or better in the standings.
