BEVERLY, MA -- Jared Barbosa's tally 40 seconds into the second half proved to be the game-winning goal as Salem State outlasted Endicott College, 1-0, Wednesday night at Salem State College.
Leonard Mlati assisted on the game-winner while Pawel Bryzey (4 saves) and Paolo Tirelli (5 saves) split time in goal to record the Vikings' shutout.
Cameron Twiss (Reading, MA/Bishop Fenwick) made six stops for the Gulls (0-3). Eitan Bendesky (Mexico City, Mexico/Colegio Israelita) Joshua Golden (Narragansett, RI/Narragansett) and Elias Carrero (Great Barrington, MA/Monumen Mountain) all played well for Endicott, which hosts Wentworth Saturday (3:00 P.M.) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference opener.
