BRISTOL, R.I. – Endicott’s \#Chris Cotter\# (Fairfield, Conn.) tallied a game-high four goals, including the game-winner, as the Gulls downed Roger Williams University, 15-6, in a TCCC men’s lacrosse matchup on Saturday afternoon in Bristol, R.I. The win moves the Blue and Green to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in league play, while the Hawks fall to 1-5 and 1-2 against TCCC foes.
Endicott jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first fifteen minutes of play and never looked back, extending its lead to 6-1 just 1:15 into the second period. RWU junior Logan Roebuck (Montgomery, N.Y.) scored back-to-back goals at 5:03 and 1:05 to provide RWU with some momentum heading into the break.
Any momentum gained was quickly erased however, as Endicott scored three goals in the first 3:39 of the third quarter and extended its lead to 11-3 with back-to-back goals at 6:54 and 6:22 of the period.
Roebuck scored the final goal of the period with an assist coming from sophomore Justin Leddy (Sea Girt, N.J.) at 2:07, but four-straight Endicott goals to begin the fourth secured the win for the visitors and gave the team their second win in three games after dropping their previous three. The loss was the fifth-straight for RWU and the fourth-straight game with six or fewer goals.
Roebuck led RWU with four goals on the day, while RWU freshman Ian Powers (Shrewsbury, Mass.) tallied two goals, tying his career high.
Along with Cotter’s four-goal effort, Endicott’s \#Jonathan Prentice\# (Chelmsford, Mass.) had three goals and one assist. \#Jack Curtis\# (Chelmsford, Mass.) and \#Brian Estes\# (Derry, N.H.) each scored twice for the Gulls, while four other players notched a single goal in the win.

Endicott held only a slight advantage in shots and face-off’s won, leading 36-35 and 13-12, respectively. The Gulls picked up 53 ground balls, while RWU registered 44.
