DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball team nearly led wire-to-wire on Saturday afternoon in a 78-65 victory over Nichols College on the road.
Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) paced all scorers with 18 points (7-14 FG, 2-5 3PT, 2-5 FT) to along with nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
The Gulls also saw Billy Arseneault (Lynnfield, Mass.), Matt McDevitt (Cumberland, Maine), and Cameron Ray (Lowell, Mass.) all score in double-figures (16, 14, 11) in the triumph.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 21-18 all-time against Nichols.
- The Gulls shot over 43% from the field (44.3%, 31-for-70) for the fourth straight game this season.
- Nichols' biggest lead of the entire contest was two points (19:28, 1st half).
- Endicott led by as many as 13 points with 1:20 left to play in the contest.
- The Gulls were ahead on the scoreboard for 37:58 worth of today's action.
