GAMEDAY CENTRAL: Endicott Hosts Salve Regina This Saturday On Senior Day (1 PM)

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott football team (7-2, 5-0 CCC Football) will host Salve Regina University (6-3, 4-1 CCC Football) this Saturday at Hempstead Stadium on Senior Day at 1 PM. Here's a preview of this weekend's contest.

SENIOR DAY CEREMONY

At the conclusion of Saturday's game, Endicott seniors Matthew Acierno (Patchogue, N.Y.), Christian Cole (Goshen, N.Y.), Dante Correa (Plainville, Conn.), Allen Gibson (Seymour, Conn.), John Glaser (East Moriches, N.Y.), Mike Hughes (Hanover, Mass.), Deric Maddaleni (Boxford, Mass.), Peyton McGowan (Huntington, N.Y.), Christian Pizzotti (Melrose, Mass.), William Rivera (Orangeburg, N.Y.), Drew Salvo (Danvers, Mass.), Connor Schinderman (Chappaqua, N.Y.), Luis Sosa (Reading, Mass.), Shane Toland (Canton, Conn.), Jake Whan (Richmond, R.I.), and Dan Williams (Southington, Conn.) will all be honored for their contributions towards the program and the Endicott community.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • An Endicott win on Saturday guarantees the Gulls the CCC Football championship outright.
  • Endicott and Salve Regina rank second (37.2) and third (27.1) in points per game, respectively, in the conference.
  • The Seahawks enter Saturday's game on a four-game winning streak. During that span, Salve Regina has outscored its opponents 141-53 (35.25 points per game).
  • Salve Regina freshman running back Joey Mauriello (Colts Neck, N.J.) is tied for fifth in the league in points (48 total, seven rushing TDs, one receiving TD).
  • Endicott is one victory shy of tying its third-highest win total in program history (8-3 in 2013, NEFC Champions).
