Jean-Paul Named New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England

BOSTON, MA - Endicott College defensive back Pego Jean-Paul (Deltona, FL/Stamford (CT) has been named to the New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England Team, as announced by NEFW Selection Committee Chair Roger Crosley.

Twenty-eight players representing 19 different teams have been named to the 2007 all-star squad. Bentley College leads the team with three selections. NCAA Division II Championship Tournament participant and Northeast -10 Champion Bryant University, New England Football Conference Champion Curry College, Merrimack College, New England Football Conference runner-up Coast Guard Academy, Trinity College, Southern Connecticut State University, and Westfield State College each placed two players on the team.

Also placing players on the squad were American International College, Assumption College, Fitchburg State College, Husson College, Middlebury College, Plymouth State University, Springfield College, Western Connecticut State University, Williams College, WPI and Endicott.

The Division II Northeast 10 had 11 players selected, while the Division III New England Football Conference had nine selections. The New England Small College Athletic Conference has four representatives.

The team will be honored at the New England Football Writers Banquet on Thursday, December 13 at Casa di Fiore in Wilmington. Those interested in attending should contact Dick Lipe at Bentley College at 781-891-2334.
