SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. — Endicott senior rider Anna Berd (Hubbardston, Mass.) posted a nationals qualifying performance on Saturday afternoon to highlight the Endicott equestrian program at Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA) Zone 1 Finals at the Mount Holyoke College Equestrian Center.
Berd earned champion in novice flat punching her ticket to IHSA Nationals in Tryon, North Carolina in early May (3-5).
Meanwhile, Lindsey Nygren (Gorham, Maine) ranked fifth in introductory flat and Sophia Channell (Vergennes, Vt.) posted 10th in intermediate flat to conclude the list of highlights for the Gulls.
"Our three riders did an excellent job representing Endicott at zone finals yesterday. Their dedication to the sport really showed with their ribbons this weekend, but I couldn't be more thrilled to be taking Anna to nationals in a few weeks! She is being a strong competitor, her entire time in the IHSA and I think she has an excellent shot to be in the top placings at nationals!"

Berd will represent the program at IHSA Nationals in Tryon, North Carolina from May 3-5.
