Equestrian Earns Reserve Champion Honors At BU/Tufts Show

BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team claimed Reserve Champion (second place) honors out of 11 programs at the Boston University Show on Saturday evening at the Holly Hill Show Stable.

Isabelle Wulff (New London, N.H.) highlighted the Gulls with reserve high point honors (second overall in points). Wulff placed first overall in limit flat and second in intermediate fences.

"I'm incredibly proud of our Gulls riders today – they came out to the first show of the season ready to win, and did just that," said Endicott equestrian head coach Megan Martin. "I'm excited that we are starting our year out with such high placings and an overall reserve championship, and I'm looking forward to a fantastic rest of the season!"

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Riley Miller (Acton, Mass.) and Irina Canute (Sudbury, Mass.) both ranked first in limit fences.
  • Amanda Blanco (Fairfield, Conn.) and Lucia Taylor (Lyme, N.H.) each placed third in limit flat.
  • Anna Berd (Hubbardston, Mass.) was third in novice flat.
  • Sophia Channell (Vergennes, Vt.) finished fourth in open fences and fifth in intermediate flat.
  • Samantha Drew (Barrington, R.I.) made her collegiate debut and placed third in introductory flat.
  • Rachel Wells (Colchester, Conn.) finished fifth in novice flat.
  • Shaina Zaslow (Lexington, Mass.) ranked sixth in novice flat.
