Endicott College particpates in Head of the Charles Regatta
Endicott Crew raced in the men's and women's club 4+ events at the Head of the Charles Regatta on Saturday, October 23, marking the first time the Gulls appeared in the world's largest rowing competition. Facing tough international and national competition for the first time, Coach Chorney made it clear to his rowers that the first time is all about the experience:

"You can't go into the largest regatta in the world with a 3 year old program and expect to win, but you can row to the best of your ability, enjoy the atmosphere, and take it all in. You'll never forget your first Head of the Charles. Races like this are what motivate you to become better rowers and take it to the next level."

The Endicott women rowed a strong race and passed two crews along the way to finish the 3 mile course with the 45th place time (of 52 entries) in the event. The men didn't fair as well, rounding out the field of 58 in their event. Despite the results, the crews had a fantastic expereince and are eager to prove themselves over the rest of the season and off into the future. Full results are availble at http://hocr.org.
