Worcester, Mass. - Endicott Crew wrapped up the 2011 regular season in Worcester, qualifying the women's varsity 4+, women's novice 4+, and men's novice 4+ for next Sunday's New England Collegiate Rowing League (NECRL) Championship Regatta. 

Despite a mistake in race strategy, the women's varsity 4+ (Harriman, Ford, Russell, Russo, Cody) gritted out a 0.5 second victory over Assumption College to claim the top seed as they face Brandeis next week.  The top Endicott women's novice 4+ needed to take 3rd place to secure enough points to qualify for their event in the NECRL championships. 

After a rough first 500m, Endicott B (Bedding, Chisholm, Griffin, Cushman, Cody) did just enough, crossing the line in 3rd to earn a date with \#1 Wentworth, while Endicott A (Foote, Soreide, Thomas, Ford, Scanlon) finished 4th.  The top men's novice 4+ (MacPhee, Morrissey, Harper, Adkins, Scanlon) took 2nd in a field of four, finishing 19 seconds behind a tough Wentwroth crew, who they'll face again in the championships next week.  The second men's novice 4+ (Herman, Nastasi, Landry, Simeon, Heath) rounded out the field in 4th.  Full results and updated league standings are below:
