BEVERLY, Mass. – As announced today by the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA), the Endicott men's ice hockey team was tabbed the #7 seed in the regional tournament. They are set to face #2 New York University (NYU) in the first round at 6:40 p.m. at the Patriot Rink in Danbury, Conn. The Gulls finished the regular season at 10-7-1 while being ranked #9 in the region while the Bobcats finished the regular season at 18-4-2 to earn the #4 spot. The first teams in the region earn an automatic place in the nationals which gave Endicott the #7 spot in the tournament.

Last year the Blue and Green lost in the first round of the Northeast Regional to the University of Connecticut and will look to tab their first win in the regional tournament in program history. Endicott will look to co-captains Cameron MacLeod (Hampton Falls, N.H.) and Clark Dumart (Shrewsbury, Mass.) to lead the squad to battle. MacLeod is the leading points for the Gulls followed by seniors Ryan Pratt (Waltham, Mass.) and Tad Gold (Vineyard Haven, Mass.).

The winner of the contest will then play the next day on the 23rd at either 11:50 or 2:30. If you are interested in attending the game the ACHA has made available a fan and family discount package for a sponsoring restaurant the Downtown Grille, flyer is listed below.
