McIntyre Claims CCC Women’s Volleyball Player Of The Week Laurels

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Endicott junior outside hitter Tori McIntyre (San Diego, Calif.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Women's Volleyball Player of the Week by the league office for her performances from October 5-11.

McIntyre was a two-way threat all week for the Gulls, as she averaged 3.21 kills, 3.29 digs and 0.29 blocks per set in a 3-1 week for the Gulls.  After just missing a double-double with nine kills and 10 digs in a 3-1 setback to traditional power Tufts,  McIntyre turned in double-digit kills in three consecutive wins over Colby-Sawyer (10 kills), Moravian (13 kills) and Babson (13 kills), the seventh-ranked team in New England. The MVP of the Endicott Invitational flirted with four double-doubles, notching 18 digs against Moravian and nine against both Colby-Sawyer and Babson.

Endicott travels across town to Gordon for a pivotal Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. before returning home to host Coast Guard on Friday at 6:00 p.m.
