SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- For the second time in the 2015 season, Endicott's Cydney Pierce (Santa Barbara, Calif.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Libero of the Week (Ending October 4^th) as was announced by the Office of the Commissioner. 

The sophomore averaged 6.00 digs per set on the 1-1 week for the Gulls as she posted 22 digs in the team's three set sweep over CCC foe Curry and then registered 20 in Endicott's 3-1 setback to Roger Williams.  Pierce's 22 dig performance was good for an average of 7.33 digs per set which is her second best career performance behind her 23 dig performance in last year's 3-0 sweep of the University of New England on October 28.

The California native has now eclipsed the 300 digs plateau on the season with 301 which is already a new single-season high as she produced 297 digs in the 2014 season.  Pierce and the Gulls have a busy week ahead as they travel to Tufts on Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. start before returning home to host the Endicott Invitational on Friday and Saturday.  The women will take on Colby-Sawyer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday before squaring off against Moravian and Babson on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
