BIDDDEBORD, ME - CCC Player of the Week Josh Lewis (Groveland, MA/Pentucket) continued his assault on the conference, recording a goal and two assists as Endicott went on the road to beat the University of New England in Commonwealth Coast Conference play Tuesday night.
Sophomore defender Eric Booth (Belchertown, MA/Belchertown) netted what proved to be the game-winner early in the first half while the senior forward Lewis and freshman midfielder Pirapong Sirikietsoong (Bankok, Thailand) capped the scoring.
Senior sweeper Daniel Duvernoy (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton), Chris Croteau (Groveland, MA/Pentucket) and Booth played superior defensive soccer in front of sophomore keeper Cameron Twiss (Reading, MA/Bishop Fenwick) while senior Kyle Austin (Keene, NH/Keene), who rang a shot off the post prior to the first goal, and sophomore Elias Carrero (Great Barrington, MA/Monumen Mountain) controlled the middle of the field.
Endicott, which is trying to secure a home playoff game, moved to 7-8-0 (6-3-0 CCC) with the conference win and will take on conference rival Curry College Saturday.
