HENNIKER, NH -- Senior Kyle Austin (Keene, NH/Keene) headed in a goal in the only goal in the first half to carry Endicott College to a 1-0 win over New England College in a CCC game Wednesday.
Fellow senior Josh Lewis (Groveland, MA/Pentucket) picked up an assist on the game-winner that came in the 26th minute and sophomore netminder Cameron Twiss recorded his second shutout in three attempts to help the Gulls win their third game in a row.
Endicott (5-7-0, 4-1-0 CCC) received solid play from sophomore Elias Carrero and freshman Pirapong Sirikietsoong (Bankok, Thailand) at midfield while senior Daniel Duvernoy (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton) and sophomore Eric Booth (Belchertown, MA/Belchertown) successfully patrolled the backline.
The Gulls return to Endicott Stadium for a two-game stretch starting with Gordon College Wednesday and finishing Homecoming Weekend (Saturday, October 15) versus Nichols College. Both contests begin at 4:00 pm.
