Men's Lacrosse Downs Nichols, 19-5

DUDLEY, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team finished off their regular season schedule with a 19-5 win over Nichols, on Saturday afternoon.

The Gulls scored the game's first 10 games and rode that momentum all the way to the 14 goal victory. 

Leading the way offensively for Endicott was Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) who scored five goals. Closely following was Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) who had five points via three goals and two assists. 

Meanwhile, Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) made 11 saves in the win. 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) made two saves in relief of Fournier 
  • Endicott had seven student-athletes secure multi-point games. 
  • The Gulls lead the all-time series over the Bison, 23-0. 
  • Endicott's defense was impressive in the contest causing 14 of Nichols' 28 turnovers. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (10-2, 7-0 CCC) and Nichols (1-10, 1-6 CCC) will await their fate in the upcoming Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) tournament.
