BIDDEFORD, ME. – The Endicott men's lacrosse team topped the University of New England (UNE), 16-7, on Saturday afternoon at UNE Blue Bolt Field.
With the game tied 4-4 in the second quarter, the Gulls went on a 10-0 run which spanned throughout the final 10 minutes of the first half, and the first 13 minutes of the third quarter.
Leading the way for Endicott on the run, was Domenic Russo (Northborough, Mass.) who scored four of his game-high six goals during that span.
Meanwhile, Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) also impressed for the Gulls offensively scoring three goals and notching two assists.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) made 14 saves to improve to 8-2 on the season.
- The Gulls dominated on the defensive end, causing 16 turnovers.
- Sam DesMarais (York, Maine) (2 G, 1 A), Reed Rezanka (San Diego, Calif.) (2 G), Sam Abate (Beverly, Mass.) (3 A), and Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) (3 A) all had multi-point games for Endicott.
- The Gulls are now 27-2 all-time vs. UNE.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (8-2, 5-0 CCC) will host Curry on Wednesday, April 28 at 4 PM. UNE (0-5, 0-5 CCC) will travel to Wentworth on Saturday, May 1 for a 7 PM contest.
