BEVERLY, Mass. – Four members of the Endicott men's lacrosse program have earned Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-Region honors, as announced by the organization earlier today.

Sam DesMarais (York, Maine), Andrew Fithian (Marshfield, Mass.), Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.), and Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) all received All-Region Second Team honors at their respective positions adding another honor to their impressive 2021 campaigns.

Since the Gulls captured the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship over rival Western New England, 9-4, on May 7, the foursome has had their names headlined several times, both academically and athletically.

In May, DesMarais and Fithian collected New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-New England Second Team honors, while Sutherland and Fournier received Honorable Mention accolades.

From there, the group of Gulls claimed United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America Honorable Mention laurels before Fithian, Fournier, and Sutherland were selected to play in the NEILA East-West Senior All-Star Game.

Sutherland also was chosen for the USILA Senior All-Star Game, where he led the USILA North team to a 17-3 win over the USILA South squad via one goal and three assists.

Lastly, academically, all four Gulls have received NEILA All-Academic Team honors, while DesMarais and Fournier should earn CCC All-Academic Team accolades in the coming weeks.
