CCC Athletes of the Week (Week Ending November 2, 2014)

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-  For the third time this fall season, Endicott junior Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer of the Week, this time for his play at the NEIGA Championship.  At the NEIGA Championship at The Captains Course in Brewster, Mass., Teal recorded his third medalist honor of the fall, finishing the two day event with a +3, 147 (74-73) to edge the nearest competition in the 107 golfer field by two strokes.

With his efforts, the team finished seventh out of 22 teams, shooting a combined +69, 645 (325-320) over the two days.  Teal was also recognized with NEIGA All-New England Team- Division III honors.  The Gulls now break for the winter and will look to continue their impressive fall in the spring when competition starts up again and culminates with the CCC Championship and potential NCAA DIII Tournament berth.
