BREWSTER, Mass.-  Competing in the 80th annual two day NEIGA Championships, Endicott finished 7th out of 22 teams while junior Austin Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) earned medalist honors, his third medalist honor of the fall season.  The Gulls finished with a two round total of 645 (+39) after competing on the Port Course 1 and the Starboard Course 2 at the Captains Course in Brewster, Mass.  This now wraps up the fall season for Endicott, a team that has won three invitationals this fall and earning medalist honors four times.

Teal's medalist honors came after he posted a +3, 147 (74-73) in the two day event. Teal held the first place standing after day one as well as he held a two stroke advantage over the field, before increasing that lead, shooting a +1, 73 on day two.  The junior now adds NEIGA medalist honors to his CCC Fall Qualifier and USM Fall Classic medalist honors as well.

Finishing second for the Gulls was freshman Ben Palazzo (Farmington, Conn.) who posted a two day total of +21, 165 (85-80) to finish tied for 50th.  Dan Negus (Pembroke, Mass.) and Alex Viola (Brunswick, Maine) finished tied for 56th while Drew Benshoff (Concord, Mass.) closed the tournament tied for 66th.  Negus posted a two day today of +23, 167 (83-84) as Viola matched that score (84-83).  Benshoff was just behind, finishing with a two day score of +26, 170 (84-86).

The Gulls will now break until second semester when competition kicks off again in April.
