Kevin Gould Signs Pro Contract With Missoula PaddleHeads

BEVERLY, Mass. – Former Endicott baseball standout Kevin Gould '19 M'20 (Rollinsford, N.H.) has signed a professional contract with the Missoula PaddleHeads of the Pioneer League.

"I'm extremely proud of KG [Kevin Gould] and excited for him! Signing a professional contract is a huge accomplishment," said Endicott baseball head coach Bryan Haley. "Kevin earned this opportunity through consistent hard work and passion for development within his craft. Kevin was one of the most disciplined and focused student-athletes I've had the pleasure of coaching. I sincerely believe he'll continue to develop and succeed at this 'next level' of baseball."

Gould is now the eighth student-athlete in program history to play professionally joining Matt Bishop '06 (drafted by the Houston Astros), Tad Gold '14 (drafted by the Baltimore Orioles), Bryan Caruso '02Greg Allain '05, Brendan Pittsley '13, Rob Goldstick '13, and current assistant coach Harry Oringer '15 on the list. 

During his time at Endicott (2016-2020), Gould posted a 14-4 record in 24 starts (30 appearances) over 141 2/3 innings pitched. He also racked up 135 strikeouts (8.58 K/9) and registered a 2.54 earned run average (ERA), the fourth-lowest in program history (min. 75 IP).

Gould compiled many postseason accolades at The Nest, highlighted by his 2017 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Pitcher of the Year award and two All-Region honors.

Following his career with the Gulls, Gould completed a graduate season at NCAA Division I Bryant University.

Gould shined for the Bulldogs this past season behind a 3-1 record, four saves, a 2.03 ERA, and 42 strikeouts in 31 innings pitched (17 appearances, one start).

"I am very excited for the opportunity to continue playing baseball. It has been an awesome journey and I owe everyone who's been a part of it a huge thank you," said Gould.

Academically, Gould was a four-time CCC Academic All-Conference honoree (3.30 GPA or higher) and was named to the Dean's List (3.50 GPA or higher) multiple times in his career.

Gould earned two degrees at Endicott – a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an M.B.A. – before receiving his Business Analytics Certificate from Bryant in 2021.
