BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott baseball student-athletes Cooper Anibal (Bedford, N.H.) and Jake Nardone (Wakefield, Mass.) have received Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Anibal was named the CCC Pitcher of the Week, while Nardone was awarded Rookie of the Week accolades.
Last week against Wentworth on Senior Day (4/28), Anibal worked three perfect innings and picked up a win in the Gulls' 10-3 victory over the Leopards. Anibal retired all nine batters he faced, striking out three.
Meanwhile, Nardone enjoyed a solid day at the plate against Wentworth. Nardone went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and two runs scored.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (15-6) will compete in the CCC Championship (best-of-3) on the road against Salve Regina this Saturday (11:30 AM/3:00 PM). If Endicott and Salve Regina split on Saturday, the if-necessary game will be played on Sunday (time TBD).
